     Transtar Productions, Inc., a Colorado Corporation based in Denver, is a full-service film and video production company servicing clients in all areas of business and industry.  We specialize in sales and marketing programs;  television commercials and infomercials;  safety and training videos;  and corporate image presentations for customers all over the world.  Our expertise and versatility allows us to communicate your message in the most concise and original manner possible.

     Transtar Productions' film and video projects are successful because we carefully balance the program's important content with memorable creative concepts.  In addition, we incorporate the film style method of shooting and directing.  This distinctive technique uses single camera accuracy to obtain a variety of angles and shots, moods and messages.  Lighting is meticulously set, sound is carefully monitored and on-camera action is direct and purposeful.

     All aspects of a presentation are handled in-house, from creative concept, scripting and talent auditions, to original shooting, graphics and animation production, sound mixing and post-production editing.  Our trained staff, professional equipment and production facilities meet the special demands of each client and project.

     Transtar Productions, Inc. offers a distinct advantage over other independent production companies because we maintain our own business, management and production facilities.  Transtar Productions maintains support staff, office equipment, bank accounts and an established 28-year history of doing business in the Colorado market.  The facilities and services provided by Transtar Productions provides an economy of scale that saves money on every film and television project.  We maintain a full complement of production and editing equipment, thereby reducing the need for major equipment purchases or rentals for many projects.

Key Personnel Biographies

     Transtar Productions' facilities are designed for any production need.  We utilize the latest in electronic technology for both standard-definition and high-definition video productions as well as 16mm and 35mm motion picture film productions.  We maintain complete video production packages including a SONY camera with Beta SP record deck, tripods, wireless sound system and an extensive lighting and grip package.  For on-location shoots, this equipment is transported in our production and grip truck.

     Transtar Productions’ current in-house editing facility features an AVID Elite editing workstation for digital, non-linear computer editing.  The NT-based system features 1:1 compression for broadcast quality, 48Hz digital stereo audio, 3D digital video effects and the AVID Title Tool.  Our digital sound studio features a recording booth, DAT recorder, CD music library and sound effects library.

     Transtar Entertainment Company will soon purchase and install an AVID Media Composer 4 editing system.  The new AVID system works in both standard-definition and high-definition with the ability to mix and match formats, frame rates and resolutions at broadcast quality in real time.  In addition, TEC will be purchasing one to two new high-definition video cameras.  We are currently considering SONY and Ikegami models with Canon HD lenses.  The new equipment and facilities will be used for all TEC projects as well as offered to outside clients.
